Red Wine
2006 Zinaz |
|
| When we stopped making Zinaz after the 2001 vintage I never imagined that it would cause such an upset. So needless to say back by popular demand the 2005 Zinaz was a superb blend of Very Old Vine Zinfandel and Syrah. The fruit forward Zinfandel with its jammy tones blend perfectly with the smoky Syrah. I have to admit I am glad that everyone stepped up for Zinaz because I almost forgot just how great these two grapes go together. The 2006 vintage is quickly becoming a collectors choice here at the winery. Don't miss out on this one. More Details |

2004 Very Old Vine Zinfandel |
|
| Located in the small town of Del Rey, CA is a very small vineyard only 1.5 acres of pre prohibition Zinfandel grapes. The grapes from these very old vines have tons of flavor and unrivaled character. We aged this wine for 30 months in mostly American Oak to help promote the fruitiness of the this wine, with just a few French Oak barrels to add some soft edges. The result is a medium bodied Zinfandel with huge aromas of Raspberries, a great Zinfandel for any occasion. More Details |
